Wellness Offerings
The Eppson Center hosts a number of weekly events focused on the goal of promoting the health and wellness of seniors in a variety of clinics, including foot care and fall prevention, as well as related wellness education. In addition, we host weekly ear acupuncture sessions!
Fall Prevention
Fall prevention is one of the key components of helping seniors maintain independence and health. We hold several fall prevention classes throughout the week in the East Wing: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 - 11:30 am, and Tuesdays from 2:45 - 3:45 pm.
Foot Care
By appointment only. To schedule your appointment, please contact Call Lorraine Saulino-Klein at (307) 742-5107 or (307) 760-1196 (cell). Appointments are available Mondays through Wednesdays as well as Fridays from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm in the Wellness Room.
Ear Acupuncture
During ear acupuncture, participants have tiny needles inserted into specific points on the outer ear associated with different body systems and organs. The body responds by releasing endorphins that may reduce stress and promote healing. Tuesdays from 8:00 - 9:00 am in the Wellness Room.
Immune System Disorder Group
Friday July 17 and 31 from 10:00 - 11:30 in the Classroom facailitated by Jamie Egolf, Licensed Psychoptherapist.
Safe Driving Course
Provided by AARP, the Safe Driving Course is a fee service scheduled at different times each month. The cost is $20 for AARP members, and $25 for non-members. For more information, contact us at information@eppsoncenter.org or by calling us at (307) 745-5116.
