Transportation
Transportation is one of the most challenging parts of growing older, especially in communities that lack public transportation. With our Senior Assisted Transportation Service (SATS) and wheelchair accessible vehicles, the Eppson Center is committed to making this essential part of life easier for seniors and others in Laramie.
The Senior Assisted Transportation Service (SATS) can be utilized for medical, personal, and social appointments. We offer door to door service in Laramie city limits, within a 5 mile radius from downtown, in our wheelchair accessible vans.
Eligibility
Anyone in the community can utilize our transportation services, although there are varying associated costs:

Seniors 60 and over ride free, although donations are greatly appreciated.

For community members under 60 with eligible disabilities, the fee is $4.00 per ride.

For those who prequalify for Medicare Waiver program, the fee is billed to Medicaid for non-medical transport

For community members under 60, the fee is $6.00 per ride
All riders must complete an application and an agreement prior to scheduling a ride.

Reserving a Ride
To schedule a ride, please call Guy at (307) 745-1511.
Rides must be scheduled 48 hours in advance, and all riders must complete an application and agreement. We ask that all riders are ready to board 15 minutes before their scheduled pick up time until 15 minutes after to allow consideration for unexpected delays.
Rides can be scheduled during our operating hours, Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 12:00 pm and 12:30 - 3:30pm.
